The theory and hazard perception tests
This is a computer-based test where you will be required to answer a few questions. The test is designed to assess your knowledge of the Highway Code, hazard perception, key driving facts and situational awareness.
It is advisable to take the theory test shortly after starting your driving course, as there will be a 2-week waiting time. I can answer all your theory queries and assess your hazard perception while you are driving.
The theory and hazard perception test covers two categories:
Part A – multiple choice: This helps to assess your knowledge of the theory behind driving
Part B – the hazard perception test: This module has 14 video clips featuring road scenes consisting of at least one developing hazard. You have to identify the hazards in the videos
You have to pass both tests to pass the theory and hazard perception test. If you pass only one part, you’ll have to take both the tests again.
